Task Forward
Task Forward is a private personal automation service that sends an email for each new task created through Google Keep and Google Tasks.
It is designed for hands-free task capture, including creating tasks by voice with Gemini and receiving them as to-do emails.
Task Forward is used only by its owner and is not (yet) offered as a public or commercial service.
How It Works
- Create a new task in Google Keep.
- The task becomes available through Google Tasks.
- Task Forward detects the new task.
- Task Forward sends an email containing the task information.
- The email becomes a reminder in your inbox.
This makes it convenient to create reminders hands-free, for example by asking Gemini to create a task while driving, walking, cooking, or otherwise away from a keyboard.
Example
“Create a task to call the electrician tomorrow.”
Task Forward detects the new task and sends you an email about calling the electrician.
Google Access
Task Forward uses Google APIs to:
- read newly created Google Tasks; and
- send reminder emails through Gmail.
The service only requests the permissions required for this functionality.
Task Forward is a private personal service and is not offered as a public application.
Privacy
Task Forward does not sell, share, or use Google account data for advertising or marketing.
